Techniques for grading- December 2011
Black Belt Academies of Great Britain, gradings are presided by Sensei Mark Junday and Mr Jamie Woodland.
Beginner - 10th kup to 8th kup (white belt to yellow belt)
- Backfist, reverse punch
- Middle block, reverse punch
- Side kick
- Inward crescent kick
- Snap kick, turning kick
- High cover, cross
Fitness:
- Horse stance punches x 10
- Rising Kicks x 10 each leg
- 20 pressups (10 for 10th Kup)
- 20 sit ups
- 20 burpees
Three step sparing 1,2,3
Intermediate 7th kup to 5th kup (green tag to blue tag)
- Backfist, reverse punch, axe kick
- Middle block, reverse punch, snap kick
- Side kick spinning side kick
- Inward crescent kick, lead jumping side kick
- snap kick, double round kick
- High cover, cross, uppercut
- Spinning kick
Fitness:
- Outer crescent kicks x 10 each leg
- 10 side/return press ups
- 20 sit ups double punch
- 20 running rock climbers
- 20 snow boarders
Three step sparing 1,2,3
Advanced 4th kup to 2nd kup (blue belt to red belt)
- Backfist, reverse punch, double round kick
- Middle block, reverse punch, turning kick, spinning kick
- Lead snap kick, side kick- spinning kick
- Inward crescent kick, jump spinning crescent kick
- Jump snap kick, jump round kick
- High cover, cross, uppercut, cross, round kick
- Superman punch, ankle sweep & side kick
Fitness:
- 10 triangle press ups
- 10 v sit ups
- 10 walkaways
- 10 mid-high round kicks each leg(pads)
