Martial arts training: Information for martial arts students

We aim to help our students to the best of our ability. So we have brought together key skills and knowledge so our students can top up their training in the dojo with martial arts training at home. We've also included the results from recent competitions, where students have had the opportunity to demonstrate their ability, developed through their training.

Martial Arts Grading

To help our students prepare for gradings, we ask our students to attend a pre-grading session this enables the student to experience what will be expected of the day and for the instructor to assess if the student is ready. As part of pre-grading procedure we ask students to bring their licence and the grading fee. At the end of the session, if Jamie feels that a student is not quite ready for the next grading, he will explain this and return the fee.
